Meizu has officially announced its two new flagship Android smartphones for 2017. According to various updates and sources, the coming Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus will also feature a secondary display at the rear panel. The Meizu Pro 7 Plus runs Android Nougat.

Meizu has shown off the 1.9-inch secondary display for displaying the stuff like - notifications, time,weather and a music player. This small secondary display also serves as a screen for taking selfies with the rear cameras!

Both Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus have dual rear cameras with two 13  Megapixel sensors - one for capturing color and another for monochrome. The front-facing camera is a 16 megapixel shooter with lot's of editing modes and beautification mode.

In terms of performance, Both the phones are the first Android devices to run MediaTek’s latest 10nm processor with 10 cores "the Helio X30".

The Meizu Pro 7 comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display. It has 4GB of memory (RAM) and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. It is backed up by a 3000 Mah battery and also supports Meizu’s fast-charging called mCharge. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack with a USB-C port.

The Meizu Pro 7 Plus is a bigger phone with its 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED display. It has 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The phone's battery capacity is 3500 Mah and also supports Meizu’s fast-charging named mCharge. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack present along with a USB-C port.

There are four varients for the new Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus :

The Pro 7 starts at around $425 with a midrange Helio P25 processor processor and 64GB of storage. The Helio X30 variant with 128GB is priced at $500. The Color choices include black, gold, and red.

The Pro 7 is priced around $605 for the 128GB varient and it costs around $605 for the 64GB storage varient.

Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus will be available on August 5 in China.
