Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi 5 has been leaked online in China. There are many sources on the web describing the forthcoming specifications Xiaomi Redmi 5. But this information and data are not entirely right, we still want to wait for the original launch event from the Xiaomi. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 will be another small budget phone. Redmi 5 will sport a 5-inch Full HD display. Regarding the camera, it’s expected to have a 16-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel selfie camera.

According to the various leaks and sources, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 or 630 Octa-core processor with Adreno 508 GPU. Redmi 5 is said to be coming in three variants - 3GB of RAM with 16GB of internal memory, 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal memory and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal memory.

The phone will feature the latest MIUI 9.0 running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Redmi 5 will also have a microSD slot and dual-SIM with 4G support.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5 will be backed up by a 3,680mAh non-removable battery. It'll also support Quick Charge 3.0 for faster charging.
The smartphone will be featuring a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device and an IR blaster to control Television, DVD, Air conditioners, etc.

Regarding pricing, Redmi 5 will start at $126 for the 3GB RAM with 16GB storage variant, $153 for 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, and $162 for the top option with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. And again, these prices are very affordable according to the given features.
